About Cheer!
What is CHEER!?
Cheer! is the story of four teenage cheerleaders in the school of Tandy Gardens, a school where magical things happen.
One day, while at school and magic was running amuck, 4 jocks were magically transformed into 4 girl cheerleaders. With no memories of the magical event, and their past lives, they assumed their new lives as the school’s cheer squad.

Is Cheer! a spinoff webcomic?
The Cheer storyline, (see ‘What is Cheer!?’) started on the Wotch comic, by Anne Onymous and Robin Ericson. Tselsebar continued and expanded the series till the comic ceased production.
Who are Cheer!?
Alexandra KingAlexandra "Alex" King is a cheerleader at Tandy Gardens High School. Alex is the leader of the TGHS cheerleading squad, and takes her duties very seriously. She is given to unnecessarily long-winded speeches with unnecessarily long words, and uses military style analogies to motivate her squad. [spoiler...] Alex has an intense rivalry with fellow TGHS student Lindsay Verte, and the two dislike each other strongly. Comics: 3 |
Joanna StarJoanna "Jo" Star is a cheerleader at Tandy Gardens High School. Jo is the bouyant heart of the cheer squad, always looking on the bright side of even the cloudiest of issues and willing to take one for the team. Jo is amazingly perceptive, and posesses some profound insights on the nature of life and those around her. She tries to mask this by appearing silly, but it is one of her most endearing features. Jo is also a fan of Joss Whedon's "Firefly". Comics: 2 |
Samantha SmithSamantha "Sam" Smith is a cheerleader at Tandy Gardens High School. Sam is the creative focus of the cheer squad: She creates the cheer squad's custom uniforms, chooses their performance music, and choreographs the cheers. Her cooking skills are reknowned throughout the school. [spoiler...] Sam has taken it upon herself to be Alex's "Minder", helping people cut through her abasive outer qualities and helping Alex to restrain herself from her own long-windedness. Cher Lita HarperCher Lita Harper, known to friends as "Lita", is a cheerleader at Tandy Gardens High School, along with Alexandra King, Samantha Smith, and Joanna Star. Lita is the vamp of the group, unashamed of using her substantial femenine wiles and keen wit to get what she wants from anyone. Perhaps influenced by the many years she has spent playing Dungeons and Dragons she is fond of concocting elaborate forms of revenge when she feels slighted. [spoiler...] Lita enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons in her spare time, along with Gabriel Masters, Ken Bradsworth, Preston Abraham, and Keith Huntington. Lita has forced the group to sign an elaborate contract regarding how they can interact at TGHS while away from the gaming table. The group doesn't mind: They get to play D&D with an actual GIRL! Why is SailorSun.org hosting Cheer!?
Recently, the 910cmx server crashed. Much of the websites and data was lost. While 910cmx rebuilt there flagship comic and active comics, Cheer was mostly ignored. As the Cheer girls appear often on SailorSun.org, and in co-operation with Tselsebar, SailorSun.org has starting hosting the Cheer comics for all to see.
Will more Cheer! be made?
There are no current plans to resume the Cheer! webcomic. This site is purely for archive purposes.
Why aren’t things the same as Cheer! was before?
Though we tried to keep the general look of Cheer! the same, aspects in the website have been made to modernize the coding and make it generally work. Not to worry, the comics have not been changed at all.
